In the school year that finished in July nearly all children of the group received good marks and approved the year. Some had problems with Maths and English language but with an special course during vacation they approved the year.

Unfortunately only one girl lost the year and need to repeat, but parents are satisfied and grateful with the help from the program. They participate also actively in the activities of the Centre and help to make maintenance and reparation in the rooms.

Main help from sponsors via Taitakuna program has been the monthly food package, the health fund for emergencies, some clothes for school of the smaller children and the gift and party each month for those who has birthday in that month.

Also important has been the monthly meeting with parents and children in wich the normal problems of children according to the age has been treated and solved, sometimes with the advice of sponsors and former volunteers.
